WHAT IS HOCl?

HOCl (Hypochlorous Acid) is an innate part of our immune system. HOCl is the very same compound used by our body’s Neutrophils, a type of white blood cell to combat invading pathogens. HOCl was known to be beneficial in treating wounds as far back as WWI, but nobody could figure out how to stabilize it. Companies have spent years trying to crack the code for non-cytotoxic stabilization of this Wound + Skin aftercare. Through old-school knowledge and advanced technology, this solution is now stabilized in a bottle.

suggestED uses

HOCl Wound & Skin Solution can be easily incorporated into any standard wound protocol.  To simplify, here are suggested protocols:

  1. Spray solutions between 3 to 7 inches from a minor wound and peri-wound area to clean and remove foreign material, including debris and microorganisms. *

2. Repeat irrigation of minor wound to refresh wound bed with an additional application.

3.  After each application, apply HOCl Hydrogel for better results. Depending on the size of the minor wound and peri-wound area, HOCl Hydrogel usage may vary.

4.  If caring for a minor wound dressing, saturate the dressing with HOCl, then apply dressing after allowing to dwell in the minor wound bed for a minimum of 3 to 7 minutes.

5. If a minor wound dressing is not applicable, use generous amounts of HOCl poured directly into the minor wound bed to thoroughly cleanse the wound.

6. Soaking the minor wound in HOCl Solutions as long as practical with a minimum time of five minutes improves results.

7.  Do not mix HOCl Solutions with any other products. Mixing may reduce or compromise the principal ingredient in HOCl Solutions.

8.  Repeat as needed or desired with a recommendation of three or more times daily.

PRODUCT COMPARISONS

COMPARISONS OF HOCl WOUND & SKIN SOLUTIONS VS SIMILAR PRODUCTS

  •  Our products are manufactured in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) FDA Registered facility.
  • We do not use any harsh chemicals to stabilize our products. Others use harsh chemicals (one being phosphates) to help stabilize their HOCl products.
  • Our pH levels range from 5.5 – 6.5 which is great for all intact skin and minor wounds. Our products are physiologically compatible, non-sensitizing and non-irritating to all intact skin, minor cuts, minor burns, and minor wounds.
  • We are stabilized for 18 months. Other companies may have a shelf life of 36 months, but once their bottle is opened, the shelf life is reduced to 30 days for use. Our shelf life remains stable for 18 months.
  • We offer a Hydrogel (other competitors do not offer a hydrogel). Hydrogel allows the solution to stay on the wound, peri-wound and/or intact skin longer. The longer the solutions are on the skin, the better the results.
  • Other competitors only rupture the cell wall, they do not destroy the genetic material. They do however create mutants. This is why pathogens become resistant to antibiotics.
